Easter 2013

We had a really good Easter this year, Parker got to go to an Easter Egg Hunt at the Sesser park and our church had a big service at the Civic Center in Benton. After church I had to go to work but Parker went with Uncle Jared and Papa to Aunt Lynn's for Easter dinner.

He loved hunting eggs, even though it was freezing cold outside!

Happy Easter!

I'm not even going to go into how horrible of a blogger I have been! And I'm not going to make any promises that I will get better either =) But, I'm here now, and blog I will...

Our "Spring" started in about February this year, which made me very happy. I love to be outside, and so does my very busy 2 year old! Getting to play outside every day for the past few months has been great. We have been going every Wednesday to J&J's house for cookouts and Parker & the twins love to run and play.

He loves his cousins so much. Another thing he loves? His trains! Oh my, he is all boy...

We've been going to the park a lot lately, and something we both enjoy is walking on the trails through the woods. I like it for the exercise, and Parker loves to explore...

Life is good. It really is. Things are great with Tim and I... he has become way more than a boyfriend, he is my best friend and I know finding that is rare so I will not take that for granted. I am still working every weekend, and while that is not fun I am thankful to have this job until another one comes up. I miss my church family a lot, and I am excited to find a job in which I will be able to attend church at least a few times a month.

This Saturday I will be throwing my sister a baby shower! I am so excited about it, and will definitely be posting pictures. I can't believe my nephew will be here in less than 11 weeks, it's unreal! I am soo ready to meet Chase Maddux =)

Happy New Year!

I haven't had a chance to say Happy New Year yet! I have a feeling that it's going to be a good one for sure. We didn't do much on New Years Eve, I had to work NYE and New Years Day from 7am-7:30 PM so that didn't leave much time. Tim's brother lives here in town so we went over there, Parker came with me and played with Tim's nephew and niece and my mom came to get him when it was bedtime. I stayed just long enough for a midnight kiss and then went straight home to bed. I was really tired, but it was worth it.

In other news... I'm going to be an Aunt!! Yay! My sister is pregnant with her first baby, and I couldn't be more excited. This will be my first niece or nephew, and we find out in four weeks if it's a boy or girl. She is due June 20th, one day after my mom's birthday. My sister sent me this in the mail the other day...

 How sweet is that =)

Christmas Celebrations

We had a great Christmas this year, I feel so blessed to be a part of a loving family that enjoys getting together for the holidays. This Christmas, we also joined Tim's family on Christmas Eve and we felt so welcome. Parker loved playing with all of the kids, he joined right in...

We didn't get home until late on Christmas Eve, so Parker did not want to wake up Christmas morning! I had to drag him out of bed so we could get to church on time.

I think once he woke up, he was pretty surprised and very happy...

We went to church right after we woke up and then came back to open all of the presents up. While I think he would've been happy with just the tricycle, the workshop, and his slinky- he did love the other presents, too.

Later that day we went to my grandparent's house for Christmas with the whole family. Kadence & Kollins are getting so big, and on Christmas Eve, Kollins took her first few steps. Parker loves to play with them now, although he's not always into sharing.

After that Parker was tired, so he went home with his Nana so he could get to bed! Tim and I went to my Aunt & Uncle's house to play cards for awhile. As you can see, we had a busy Christmas full of family and laughter, and I know Parker loved every minute.
