If this is Global Warming, I'm a fan!

I don't know how the weather is where you are, but here in Southern Illinois the past week has been perfect. I don't ever remember have 60 degree weather in January! It has been wonderful, we even had a park playdate with our besties yesterday!

We had such a good time, just talking and letting the boys play. Good news is, next week is supposed to be pretty nice so we plan on trying to do this again on Wednesday. Sometimes in the winter it is easy to get stir crazy and just want to get out, and in the small area we live in there are not many indoor activities for little ones, so having such warm weather when it's normally freezing is definitely welcome.

I haven't had a chance to say Happy New Year yet! I have a feeling that it's going to be a good one for sure. We didn't do much on New Years Eve, I had to work NYE and New Years Day from 7am-7:30 PM so that didn't leave much time. Tim's brother lives here in town so we went over there, Parker came with me and played with Tim's nephew and niece and my mom came to get him when it was bedtime. I stayed just long enough for a midnight kiss and then went straight home to bed. I was really tired, but it was worth it.

In other news... I'm going to be an Aunt!! Yay! My sister is pregnant with her first baby, and I couldn't be more excited. This will be my first niece or nephew, and we find out in four weeks if it's a boy or girl. She is due June 20th, one day after my mom's birthday. My sister sent me this in the mail the other day...
