The Baby Shower

We had the Baby Shower on September 20th, and it went wonderful! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better shower! We are so blessed to have so many people that wanted to give Parker gifts! Here are a few pictures! This is me with the gorgeous cake! Everyone seemed to like it!


And this is the diaper cake that Lisa Gibbs and Vicki made for us!


And last but not least, the quilt that Gloria Fraulini and Lisa Sauerhage had made for Parker!


I will be posting pictures of his room soon, we got it painted and all set up now so all we have to do is wait... for 3 more months! Ahh! I'm hoping with the holidays that it will just fly by, right? =)

24 Weeks tomorrow!!

Well, I haven't been very good with keeping up with the blog, I'll try to do better! Tomorrow I will be at 24 Weeks (6 months)and I can't believe it! I am soo ready to meet Parker! I have a doctor appointment this afternoon to meet Dr. Gates, he is the doctor that will deliver Parker if I go into labor and my Dr. is not there or on call. THEN in a few weeks I have to get the glucose testing to make sure that I do not have gestational diabetes... Other than that, nothing new is really going on. Matt is on vacation with his family in New Orleans this week, I wasn't able to go since I have school but that is okay because I was able to go to Florida last month and he wasn't able to go because he had to work!  Here are the latest pics of Parker from the 21 week ultrasound

And the most important part, definite PROOF that he is a boy!! hehe


In other news, my sister got engaged!!! WOO HOO!! I am going to have a brother in law! And Parker is going to have another Uncle! So that is exciting, they are going to get married in Destin, FL next summer so that should be a fun time! =) I think that is all the news I have for now, I will try my hardest to keep this more updated!
